Dormice are fascinating and beautiful little creatures protected by law in the UK. As a protected species, it is important that you understand how to protect them if you are likely to be working on a site with dormice. This Dormice and Developments course is designed to teach you about dormouse ecology and how developments impact and are impacted by the presence of Dormice. We will look at the laws that protect dormice and the mitigation techniques we can use to ensure developments are carried out lawfully and in a way that keeps dormice safe.

This course is aimed at anyone working on sites that have or may have, dormice and at ecologists working under infrastructure maintenance contracts. Dormice and Developments is delivered as a pre-recorded Webinar taught by an experienced principal ecologist from Ecology Training UK.

We will cover the following topics:
