Acorn Ecology has been running courses for a number of years and has now built up a national reputation for training ecologists. The number of courses available is increasing each year and range from longer courses like the Certificate in Ecological Consultancy to one and two-day courses on a variety of topics from bats and badgers to beginner’s botany and bird identification. We also have a selection of online, home study courses to provide background knowledge about ecology, aimed at those people who lack a relevant degree, as well as courses on species identification, invasive species and habitat management.

Acorn Ecology is dedicated to helping others achieve their career aspirations. In 2009 Sue Searle, our Managing Director and lead tutor, won a National Training Award for her personal services to training. All of our tutors are highly knowledgeable and experts in their field.
