What does 2018 have in store for you? The New Year is always a good time to set some goals for the year ahead and make plans.
What are your career goals?
How can you progress in your career in 2018? Maybe you completed a degree last year and are looking for a job, or you feel like this is the year you make a brave leap and change your career. Whatever your starting point, you need to think about what sets you apart from other applicants. What can get you ahead of the crowd?
In any area of work, keeping up with the latest research techniques and wildlife legislation is always a must. This is true whether you are starting from scratch, or for your CPD (Continued Professional Development).
What can Acorn Ecology offer?
Certificate in Ecological Consultancy
We still have a few places left on our flagship course. This course is ideal for those who want to break into Ecological Consultancy. Have a look at our FAQs on our training website. The course is designed to fit around work, with a mixture of field courses and assignments.
Introductory Ecology Courses
We run a range of introductory courses. Either one or two-day courses, these are designed to give you a great introduction to a range of subjects, from Phase 1 habitat maps, to protected species ecology and survey techniques. Including bats, dormice, great crested newts, reptiles and badgers.
These courses are designed for professional Ecologists, already experienced in protected species surveys and who are looking to build on that knowledge. We discuss case studies and look at mitigation and licensing.
We have friendly staff in our office who are always happy to discuss our courses with you. If you have any questions regarding our courses please get in touch with us. Email email@example.com, or call us at the office 01392 366512.
